Preparation for rinsing:
For a cup of tea (125 ml) pour boiling water over a ½ to 1 teaspoon of sage leaves and let steep for 10 minutes, covered. Then strain the tea and gargle or rinse lukewarm several times a day.
Preparation for drinking:
For a cup of tea (125 ml) pour boiling water over 1 teaspoon of sage leaves and let steep for 10 minutes, covered. Then strain and drink slowly in sips.
For increased perspiration:
Pour ½ litre of boiling water over 2 to 3 tablespoons of sage leaves, cover and leave to infuse for 10 minutes. Then strain and wash the affected areas of the body with cold sage tea several times a day.
