KOTTAS Kräuterhaus Organic Lung Ching is a mild green tea with a delicate, refreshing flavour. Named after the town of the same name in Zhejiang province, the legendary ‘Dragon Well Tea’ is one of China’s most popular teas. The tea leaves are gently roasted immediately after harvesting to prevent oxidation. This gives Lung Ching its characteristic greenish-yellow colour.
The organic tea is carefully and lovingly bottled by hand by the herbal experts in our Viennese manufactory.

In China, the leaves of the Lung Ching are used to prepare several infusions that each give a different taste experience:
- First infusion: boil water, then let it cool to about 80°C, to preserve the tea’s valuable ingredients. Add 1 full teaspoon per cup to a preheated teapot, let steep covered for 2–3 minutes, strain and enjoy!
- Second and further infusions: Use the leaves of the first infusion and pour 80°C hot water over them again, let steep for about 30 seconds, strain and enjoy pure!
- Our tip: The second infusion is lower in tannins and caffeine and therefore has a particularly harmonious flavour.

Storage: Store in a dry place and not above room temperature. Close the packaging properly after opening.
