For more than 60 years KOTTAS has been offering medicinal herbal teas in filter bags in pharmacopoeia and certified quality in addition to the numerous herbal and tea specialities in the KOTTAS Kräuterhaus . Originally known under the name Kottas Kräuterexpress, today these are available in Austrian pharmacies under the brand name DR. KOTTAS.

Our medicinal herbs are subject to strict quality controls: In accordance with the high standards of the European Pharmacopoeia, they are tested in the laboratory for purity, harmful substances, identity and active ingredient content. Only herbs that pass our 'botanical passport control' are processed at our production site in Vienna.

With around 70 varieties of filter bag teas, most of which are available exclusively in pharmacies, DR. KOTTAS has been one of the top 3 OTC brands in Austrian pharmacies since 2018. Our range includes not only traditional herbal teas for recovery, but also black and green teas, fruit teas and other teas for wellbeing and staying healthy.
