My First Tea
DR. KOTTAS Organic Baby Tea is a natural tea blend for your baby.
According to complementary feeding recommendations, no additional drinks are necessary during breastfeeding. Once complementary foods are introduced, additional fluids can be offered to your baby from the 5th month onwards. From the 10th month, babies then regularly require extra fluids. In certain situations (e.g. illness), earlier introduction may be advisable after consulting a doctor. If you are unsure, please consult your midwife.
The traditional household recipe has been slightly adapted based on new scientific insights: fennel has been replaced with caraway. All DR. KOTTAS mother-and-child teas are made from carefully selected plants of organic quality.
The herbal blend is packaged in 20 double-chamber filter bags of 1.3g, dosed ready for use, with the ingredients and flavour protected. Our filter bags are made from the microplastic-free natural fibre abacá and are therefore fully compostable.

Pour 1 cup (125 ml), pour boiling water over 1 tea bag and allow to steep, covered, for 5–10 minutes. Then squeeze the tea bag well. Allow the tea to cool to a lukewarm temperature and administer in small sips. Always prepare fresh and do not sweeten.
Tip: For sensitive babies, we recommend diluting the tea with water to approximately 200ml.
Special notes: Avoid continuous sucking, this can cause tooth damage.
Storage: Store in a dry place and not above room temperature.
