In the past, every family appreciated the power of larch pitch (larch resin) and it was part of the "medicine chest", so to speak. Larch pitch was used in particular when foreign bodies had penetrated the skin. It was supposed to draw everything bad out of the body. Larch pitch was used for everything that had to do with the skin. Thanks to its special scent and essential oils, it is also suitable for warm compresses - a blessing in the cold season. Just as larch pitch protects the bark of the larch tree, this larch pitch balm protects the skin. Accompanying herbs and plants in DR. KOTTAS larch pitch balm: Elderberry is said to have a drawing power and offers protection against the effects of cold and other external influences. Onion is known as a cleansing and drawing household remedy. Sage leaves support the nourishing properties of larch pitch balm. Echinacea strengthens and protects. Calendula gently envelops, protects and nourishes. Camomile blossom soothes and envelops the skin in a protective layer. The gentle processing of the larch resin with the accompanying, hand-picked herbs and plants from the monastery gardens of Gut Aich in the Salzkammergut make this balm so precious. The larch pitch balm is based on high-quality olive oil, an excellent body care product, and beeswax for its smooth consistency. Some examples of use:
