Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens), also known as ‘holy stick’, is a tree native to South America whose resinous wood has been used and valued for spiritual rituals for centuries. In Peru, it is traditionally used to cleanse rooms and provide mental support in the event of illness. Its pleasant, sweet fragrance is said to dispel negative energies and create an atmosphere of calm and healing.
