A balanced ratio between acids and bases in our body forms the basis for a normally functioning metabolism. Our body regulates the acid-base balance via a buffer system in which the lungs and kidneys are involved. Stress, unbalanced diets and a diet with highly acidic foods can lead to an imbalance in the acid-base balance.
The alkaline mineral mixture, consisting of carbonates and potassium citrate, among other things, can help to neutralise excess acids. The silicic acid it also contains is an important building block for healthy hair and nails and contributes to the resistance of connective tissue. Free from preservatives, additives and artificial colours.
