Alpha-lipoic acid (thioctic acid) is a sulphur-containing fatty acid. The vitamin-like substance (vitaminoid) is found in the cells of animals, plants and humans and fulfils important tasks in the human organism. As a coenzyme, alpha-lipoic acid supports the enzymes in controlling and accelerating biochemical reactions in the body. It also has anti-oxidative properties and protects the cells from oxidative stress.
DR. KOTTAS R-Alpha Lipoic Acid Capsules provide alpha-lipoic acid in the body’s natural form. This means that it can be absorbed particularly well. Free from preservatives, additives and artificial colours.
