However, home remedies such as medicinal herbs can provide relief from allergy symptoms and alleviate symptoms during pollen season. Ingredients: Currant leaves, currant fruit, mulberry leaves, elder fruit, sorrel, elm bark, basil, verbena Preparation: Pour a quarter of a litre (250 ml) of boiling water over one heaping tablespoon of the tea mixture per cup and let it steep covered for 10 minutes. Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum, Ling-Zhi) Reishi is an umbrella-shaped edible mushroom that has enjoyed great popularity for over 4000 years, especially in Japan and China. It has a similar reputation there as ginseng. Reishi is also called the "Divine Mushroom of Spiritual Power" because it is said to balance the polar forces of Yin and Yang. The dried fruit body of the Reishi mushroom is often added to foods and herbal blends. Reishi is used as a tea in TCM and is traditionally remembered as a fountain of youth. Ganoderma lucidum is also known in Europe under the name "shiny lacquer porling". Its nevertheless low level of awareness in our country is due to the fact that the mushroom could not be cultivated until a few years ago and was therefore very expensive.
Reishi extract additionally contains Vitamin C (Ester-C®) and contributes with its multiple qualities to a normal collagen formation, a normal function of the blood vessels and the energy metabolism as well as to the protection of the cells against oxidative stress.
The special Ester-C® contains no free acid and is therefore considered well tolerated.

The DR. KOTTAS Vital Mushroom Metabol contains chromium, vitamin C, vital mushrooms such as Hericium, Pleurotus and Reishi, asparagus extract and apple cider vinegar powder. Vitamin C contributes to a normal energy metabolism. Chromium supports normal metabolism of macronutrients (e.g. sugar) and helps keep blood sugar levels in the normal range. The contained vital mushrooms and vitamin C support the immune system. Asparagus extract and apple cider vinegar powder provide further valuable nutrients and positively influence digestion.
For our DR. KOTTAS Vital Mushroom Metabol we use special high-quality mushroom extracts with valuable plant substances standardized to 30 % polysaccharides. Reishi extract has an additional 2 % triterpenes and 20 % beta-glucans.
Pleurotus is one of the most popular edible mushrooms due to its delicate aromatic taste. It contains, among other things, the β-1,3/1,6-D-glucan pleuran, ergosterol, a vitamin D2 precursor, and ergothioneine. Reishi (Ganoderma) contains polysaccharides and triterpenes such as ganoderic acid, and it is considered the mushroom of immortality in China. Hericium is also a very popular edible mushroom. It contains polysaccharides, such as erinacin and hericenones.
Chromium, as an essential trace element, contributes to normal metabolism of macronutrients (e.g. sugar) and maintenance of normal blood sugar levels. Vitamin C contributes to normal energy metabolism and protection of cells from oxidative stress (caused by radicals).
Asparagus extract / apple cider vinegar powder
Asparagus is the most water-rich vegetable and the strong urine smell after consumption is due to the aspartic acid it contains. Hippocrates already described the effects of asparagus on urine.
Apple cider vinegar is produced by fermentation of apple cider and was already used in ancient times to preserve food. During the fermentation process, among other things, tannins are produced, which are among the tannins.

Vital Mushrooms
Cordyceps (Cordyceps sinensis) was already a highly valued and almost priceless mushroom in the 15th century, after the yak herders in Tibet observed that their cattle were more efficient and resistant after eating it.
The mushroom grows wild in the Tibetan highlands at altitudes of 3,000 to 5,000 meters, but is now also cultivated. In traditional Chinese nutritional teachings, it is considered a supporter of Qi and Yang. Cordyceps extract also contains vitamin C (Ester-C®) with its multiple qualities, which contribute in particular to a normal energy metabolism and to the reduction of fatigue. The special Ester-C® contains no free acid and is therefore considered better tolerated.

Chaga extract Contains a high-quality extract from the vital mushroom Chaga as well as Niacin (Vitamin B3) and vitamin C.
VVital mushrooms contain a variety of active biological substances and are considered to be multisubstance mixtures. Complex and valuable ingredients are mainly the polysaccharides, beta-glucans, triterpenes, polyphenols and bioactive proteins.
