Anno 1795 Limited Edition230 years of KOTTAS – enjoy a piece of history! In 1795, the KOTTAS Kräuterhaus – at that time still Anton Kottas-Heldenberg's ‘Medicinische Kräuter Handlung’ of Anton Kottas-Heldenberg – opened its doors for the first time. Over the centuries, it supplied the Viennese with medicinal herbs of the best pharmacy and pharmacopoeia quality and became known far beyond the city limits. To this day, the name KOTTAS and the KOTTAS Kräuterhaus stand for the highest quality and the tradition of Alpine herbal knowledge. Our KOTTAS Kräuterhaus Anno 1795 was developed by our experts from the Kräuterhaus as a tribute to this long history. The list of ingredients for this fine herbal tea contains only local plants that grow in Austria and are known for their far-reaching positive effects on body and soul. The traditional blend is ideal for festive occasions, as a gift or simply for a relaxing break in between. Ingredients: Lemon balm, malve, peppermint, chamomile, calendula, sage, apple. Preparation: Per cup (250ml) pour 2-3 teaspoons with boiling water, cover and steep for 10 minutes, strain and enjoy. Storage: Store aroma-protected, dry and not above room temperature (25 °C). Whether as a base for cocktails or pure on ice: your home-made gin is guaranteed to delight your guests and friends. All you need is an empty bottle, 0.7 litres of vodka and a little patience.
The KOTTAS Kräuterhaus Garlic Butter spice mix is made exclusively from 100% natural ingredients and contains no preservatives, flavour enhancers or artificial additives. It is caffeine-free and vegan.
The spices contained in KOTTAS products are tested for identity, purity and active ingredient content according to strict criteria based on extensive analyses.

Matcha is a green tea ground into powder, which is mainly used in the Japanese tea ceremony. The taste of matcha is reminiscent of fresh spinach leaves and has a slightly bitter flavour on the finish. In Japan, this flavour is known as "umami". However, matcha is not only flavourful, it is also rich in antioxidants and amino acids for body and mind.
Try our KOTTAS Kräuterhaus Matcha Premium. This versatile powder is ideal for use in coffee, milk, smoothies, cocktails and desserts of all kinds.
Note: Matcha is less suitable for pregnant women and children due to its high caffeine content.

Preparation: Pour 80°C hot water over 1 teaspoon, leave to infuse for 2 - 3 minutes and froth with a bamboo whisk.

Balancing herbs such as mistletoe, passionflower and lemon balm have long been used in folk medicine. They are said to have many positive properties and effects on circulation and well-being. From morning to night, this fine herbal tea is the perfect supportive companion.
Ingredients: Mistletoe herb, olive leaf, lemon balm leaf, passion flower herb, goldenrod herb
Preparation: Pour boiling water over 2 heaped teaspoons per cup. Cover, leave to infuse for 10 minutes and drink in sips.
