KOTTAS Marienkroner herbal tea blend to accompany your fasting cure
Together with the Marienkroner Retreat and Health Resort, we have developed an in-house tea blend to gently support your fasting cure. Cheese poplar, lemon balm and other herbs contained in the blend are said to have protective and digestive properties with regard to the gastrointestinal mucosa. The delicious tea is relaxing and also helps to prevent flatulence and bloating. We recommend this herbal tea blend especially as a (fasting) accompaniment for the afternoon hours.
Ingredients: Cheese poplar, lemon balm leaf, bitter fennel, calamus root, yarrow, cinquefoil, liquorice root, marigold
Preparation: Pour boiling water over 2 heaped teaspoons per cup, cover and leave to infuse for 10 minutes, strain and enjoy in sips.
Storage: Store in a dry place and protect the flavour.

Herbs such as dandelion and nettle support the liver, gall bladder and kidneys and thus contribute to a healthy metabolism. Melissa has a balancing effect, while at the same time the caffeine contained in green tea and mate leaves stimulate the spirits. Blackthorn blossoms and peppermint support your digestion. Preparation: Pour 250 ml of boiling water over 1 tablespoon per cup and let it steep covered for no longer than 10 minutes. Then strain the tea and drink one cup lukewarm several times a day. The tea should be drunk regularly over a long period of time.
